Professor Emeritus at Luther College, James Griesheimer, presents a musical Nänie on Wednesday, the 20th, at 6:30 PM-8:00 PM at the German American Museum in St. Lucas, IA.
What is a Nänie? It is a translation and analysis of Schiller’s poem and the Brahms musical setting. To be accompanied by a survey of Brahms’s works for chorus and orchestra.
