Virginia has served as an exceptional volunteer for the St. Lucas Historical Society since its inception in 2003.  Virginia has served as the Treasurer and then Secretary of the Society over many years.  As Recording Secretary she has communicated with all of our generous supporters.  An example of her volunteer spirit is her engagement with the 1891 Financial Life (formerly the Women’s Catholic Order of Foresters) in obtaining matching funds for our annual Christmas Reflections museum fundraising event.  These funds help cover the operating expenses of the German American Museum like electricity, fuel oil and building insurance.  The Mexican luncheon and German Chocolate Cake were small tokens of our appreciation for her outstanding dedication and tireless service for over two decades to the Society and the Museum.
